What is a Bond Paper?
Bond papers derived its name because it was originally made for documents such as government bonds. Bond paper has its source from rag pulp which produces a stronger paper than wood pulp
As a result you find bond paper is a superior variety of paper usually with high cotton fiber content, esp. used for stationery. Bond papers usually have a weight greater than 50g/m2.
Bond papers are superior to bank papers even though they are similar. The major difference between the two is that Bank paper is a thin strong writing paper of less than 50g/m2.. Bank paper is also commonly used for typewriting and correspondence.
